Working Student – Technical Customer Support & Deployment (m/f/d)
15–20 h/week · Potsdam/Berlin, hybrid · starting now
Our customers run the fuentis Suite 4 partly in the cloud and partly on-premise in highly isolated environments at large enterprises and public authorities. That is exactly where we need you: as a technically skilled interface between customer, sales, and development.
What you will do
Prepare and support software updates and container deployments at our on-premise customers
Pre-qualify technical customer questions and tickets, clarify them internally, and follow up until the customer has an answer
Answer requirement catalogs and technical questionnaires from enterprise customers
Build internal automations, scripts, and documentation with AI tools that save time for us and our customers
Work with our sales and engineering team on release planning and customer communication
What you bring
Enrolled student in computer science, business informatics, IT security, or a comparable field; career changers with demonstrable technical affinity are welcome
Basics in Linux shell, Git, and Docker, or the ability to teach yourself from documentation within a few weeks
You work with AI tools (Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) as a matter of course and have already built your own scripts or small tools with them
German at a business-fluent level (our customers are German public authorities and enterprises), good English
Reliability: fixed working days that customers and colleagues can count on, also agreed around exam periods
You enjoy talking to people: you explain things to an administrator at a customer as readily as to a developer on our team
Discretion: you work with security-critical customer environments and sign a non-disclosure agreement
Nice to have:
First experience with deployment processes, CI/CD, or Kubernetes/OpenShift
Experience in direct customer contact (support, consulting, project work)
Knowledge of Keycloak, MSSQL/MongoDB, or reverse proxy setups (nginx)

Hybrid: regularly on site in Potsdam/Berlin, otherwise remote
Working student contract, minimum term 12 months, prospect of extension or permanent position
