What is the current status of Grundschutz++?
Grundschutz++ is not final yet: BSI published the methodology guide in April 2026 and explicitly describes it as part of an introduction and testing phase. BSI is adding blueprints, audit models and migration paths step by step. In the meantime, the existing IT-Grundschutz Compendium remains the basis for current ISMS.
How can Grundschutz++ be implemented in an ISMS?
In practice: record your target objects, map requirements through practices instead of building blocks, and document implementation and evidence.
